#16: Jan Van Betten on Getting Lost in The Woods

My guest today is Jan Van Betten, founder and CEO of Nudge, an Amsterdam-based social business which works to solve social and environmental issues by running leadership programs, consulting and campaigning as well as distributing expertise across their online platform and through their grass roots community of over 60.000 individuals and 300 business partners.

Jan founded Nudge after a career in business, latterly as Managing Director of Reed Elsevier in Germany.

I spoke with Jan online from his office in Amsterdam. We talk about his epiphany on sustainability whilst working in big business, how it compelled him to drastically change his career path, how he has found answers to dilemmas through immersing himself in nature, getting truly lost in the woods and ending up talking to trees.
