#20: Michael Cassiers on Self-Managed Organisations

My guest today is Michael Cassiers, a Director of CompanyDoctors, which he co-founded in 1998 in order to work with organisations to liberate locked-up potential and to minimise or even eliminate organisational friction and energy losses. They aim for a climate of ‘organisational wellbeing’ best suited to exploiting potential more fully.

Over the years, he has become something of a specialist in radical organisational change and transformation, including developing deep expertise in self-managed organisations.

I spoke to Michael online from his office in Belgium. We talk about how most organisations drain energy from their people, why most people struggle with change, how to make change appealing, and why self-managed organisations’ time has come.
